Mr. Drew,
I had the pleasure of listening to your presentation at the Viacord luncheon today. Your story is amazing and moving. The number of lives you have touched/affected during your many challenges is incredible. Your strength and willingness to work through so many avenues to make changes that benefit all of us is so inspiring. I have always thought of myself as a person of servitude: a wife, mother, nurse, an educator, a blood donor and registered member of the bone marrow donor registry. Listening to you, I can see that I haven't BEGUN to make the kind of difference that have made for our brothers and sisters in this nation.
For what it's worth, I thank you for finding so many ways to make the BEST of all the WORST situations in your life and for always doing everything you can to make a difference for others that might have similar misfortunes. You?are what I want to be when I grow up!!!
May God bless you and your new wife in your life together.
Jackie
